The new Arcsaber 7 Pro has been improved with the development concept of "decisive control." Analysis of the previous model showed potential for improvement by increasing the stability of the frame while extending the shuttle contact time.
Frame stability has been improved by the new frame structure with a rigid structure at the top and bottom of the face, reducing twisting and unwanted deformation on impact. The new Control-Assist Bumper is a connected grommet piece, which is placed at the top of the frame that contains a T-Anchor. These are micro-sized tetrapods, which help lock in vertical strings, reducing unwanted string movement and improving accuracy.
To increase shuttle contact time, the sides of the frame, as opposed to the top and bottom, are softer, allowing flexibility around the sweet spot. Also, a new technology, the Pocketing Booster, is incorporated inside the top of the frame. This inner lining is a patented rubberized material that provides additional elasticity to the flex of the frame, increasing both shuttle hold and shuttle launch speed.
ISOMETRIC (Enlarged Sweet Spot): ISOMETRIC technology continues to help the world’s greatest players achieve global success. Developed over 30 years ago, the ISOMETRIC design increases the sweet spot by 7%. Compared to a conventional round frame, a square-shaped ISOMETRIC racquet generates a larger sweet spot by optimizing the intersection of the main and cross strings. Solid Feel Core: The built-in solid feel core cuts harmful miscellaneous vibration at impact. Solid feel core is carried in all racquets manufactured in Japan.
Ultra PE Fiber: The shaft is constructed using ‘Ultra PEF’ – ultra poly ethylene fibre – which is light enough to float on water yet able to withstand immense forces. these characteristics allow for maximum shock absorption.
Super Slim Shaft: The slimmest racquet ever produced by YONEX vastly reduces air resistance whilst providing maximum feel.
Energy Boost CAP PLUS: Uniquely shaped cap which maximizes shaft performance. The front allows the shaft to flex, while the side arch-shaped curve stabilizes the racquet face by preventing the shaft from twisting.
T-ANCHOR: A new composite material T-ANCHOR used in the T-joint helps reduce excess torque when hitting an off-centre shot.
